This design captures Sócrates at his most iconic — cigarette in mouth, calm, defiant, and completely unapologetic. More than just a footballer, he was a thinker, a leader, and a symbol of standing for something bigger than the game.
The raw, punk-inspired artwork strips everything back to attitude and identity. No gloss, no perfection — just presence. The phrase “futebol é liberdade” (“football is freedom”) says it all, reflecting a player who played with intelligence, conviction, and a refusal to conform.
