Featuring Jari Litmanen, this design celebrates the player who became Finland’s first true football superstar.

Known at home as “Litti”, and forever remembered as “Kuningas” — The King, Litmanen rose from the Finnish leagues with Reipas, HJK, MyPa and Lahti to the very top of the European game. His career took him across some of football’s most iconic clubs — including Ajax, Barcelona, Liverpool, Hansa Rostock and Malmö FF — but it was in Amsterdam where his legend was truly forged.

In the mid-1990s, Litmanen was widely regarded as one of the finest attacking midfielders in the world. The high point came in 1995, when he helped Ajax lift the Champions League and announced Finland’s arrival on the global football stage.
