This design captures Gordon Strachan’s famous celebration after scoring against West Germany at the 1986 World Cup in Querétaro. His goal gave Scotland the lead in a 2–1 defeat and remains one of the country’s most memorable moments from Mexico ’86.

The celebration became iconic in its own right, with Strachan lifting his leg onto the advertising hoarding rather than trying to leap it. It was a brilliant flash of personality from one of Scotland’s standout players of the era.
